Since family history is the backbone of the Padrino’s story, our team dove headfirst into the rich graphic design history of Cuba. The logo is directly derivative of the original Hermanos Padrino’s logo from 1930. We were inspired by films, cigar boxes, tourism posters, and signage from the early twentieth century. With this goldmine of inspiration, we set out to apply a modern twist that is undeniably “Cuban-inspired.”
